Anxiety appears differently in everyone, and symptoms can vary widely from person to person. You know your own experiences best, and it’s important to recognize and acknowledge how anxiety impacts you personally.
Some common manifestations of anxiety include feeling overwhelmed or lacking control, excessive worrying or heightened anxiety in specific situations, avoidance of social situations, public places, and/or events, racing thoughts, difficulties with sleep, physical symptoms such as headaches, rapid heartbeat, trembling limbs, and muscle tension.
